Paula Bauguess, RN, BSN
Paula Bauguess, RN currently
serves as Clinical Coordinator for Premier
Fertility Center and has worked with Dr.
Deaton since 1991. Paula’s clinical
responsibilities
include
conducting ultrasounds,
performing intrauterine
inseminations (IUI), and other nursing related activities.
She provides teaching
and counseling to patients undergoing ovulation induction
cycles with Clomid,
Femara and/or injectable
gonadotropins. She also works with couples who
choose therapeutic donor sperm insemination. She guides
couples through the donor selection process and assists
in specimen ordering. When couples have concerns
or questions about the infertility processes,
Paula is here to help bring “order and
calm".
Paula places her family foremost in her life. She is married with two grown daughters and is very active in her church. She enjoys the opportunity that she has at Premier Fertility Center to share in the physical, emotional and spiritual lives of those seeking to complete their family.
Angela Reagan, BSN, RN
Angela Reagan, BSN, RN has worked
as the IVF coordinator for Dr. Deaton since 2005. Her
primary responsibilities include coordinating the care
of IVF patients
including managing aspects
of their medical, laboratory,
surgical, and nursing care.
Angela enjoys working with couples undergoing
assisted reproductive technologies. She is actively involved
in teaching, which includes a review of the IVF
program requirements, description of the IVF processes,
medication administration, and other areas. She has developed
patient educational materials designed to answer the most
common assisted reproductive technology questions.
She is responsible for scheduling, and coordinating,
all aspects of IVF
cycles including maintenance of accurate records of
all diagnostic testing and treatments. She maintains records
that document IVF cycle information that is used to report
yearly to the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology
and the CDC.
Angela is dedicated to patient care and finds this one of her most rewarding duties. She conducts ultrasounds and assists in IUI and embryo transfer procedures. Angela strives to be available at all times to her IVF couples.
Angela and her family recently relocated
to the Triad area from Atlanta, GA. She loves to spend
time with her two little girls and her husband and has
been married for almost 9 years. In her spare time, she
enjoys dancing, scrap booking, and competing with her
family in a Fantasy Football League. Angela has always
been involved in Women's Healthcare throughout her
nursing career. She is very thankful for having the opportunity
to positively connect with so many wonderful couples at
Premier Fertility
Center.
